OPENVoicemail service has several additional enhanced capabilities that leverage the standard voicemail to be attractive and generate more revenues, including:
- Voice to MMS
During a message retrieval session, subscribers may forward a played voice messages as MMS message to mobile device or forward it to an email address. The subscriber may add a voice note to the sent message.
- Callback
During a message retrieval session, the subscriber may return a call to the caller. At any time, the subscriber can return to the voicemail session and continue the retrieval session.
- Fax to Email
A subscriber receives a virtual fax number and a fax mailbox. Faxes that are sent to this number are deposited in a fax mailbox. The faxes are forwarded to an email address and can then be viewed/printed/saved.
- Notifications of new messages
The subscriber can define the mailbox to send notification (including time and sender info) of new incoming messages and receive them as SMS or email message.
- CLI to SMS
During a message retrieval session, the subscriber may forward the CLI of a voice message as an SMS message to his or hers mobile device. At later stage, the subscriber can return a call to the caller without the need to write down the CLI or to break the message retrieval session.
- Record & Send
A subscriber may record a voice message and send it to another subscriber or to a mailing list. The message will be deposited directly in the recipients' mailboxes without ringing their phones.
- Web-based self-provisioning
A subscriber can self-provision the mailbox using a standard Web browser, including Greetings, PIN code and mailbox preferences.
- Family Mailbox
A common mailbox for several subscribers (e.g. family) who share a single phone line. Each member has a separate voicemail mailbox and has several personal options related to his or hers mailbox (such as Greetings and PIN code).
